However there is a bus stop just outside the apartment, but village buses are mysterious infrequent animals. We are in a rural location, so a car is highly recommended. West Cornwall is known for its heathland, golden sand, artists' colonies, ancient stone circles, and Iron Age villages. The apartment is in the village of Porkellis, close to art and culture, restaurants, a beach, and family-friendly activities. A newly converted first-floor apartment which forms part of the owners 18th century cottage, one of the oldest in the village.
